Online Trunk Show 2016

My blogger friend Soma with the blog Whims and Fancies hosted last year a great online trunk show, and now it's time for a new show. Please click at the picture and jump to her blog to look at all the beautiful quilts linked up.

Online Quilt Trunk Show | Whims And Fancies

This year I'll show you some of my new and old quilts. I've made many bed sized quilts throughout the years, and here are some of my favorites.

This quilt is made after an idea of Lise Bergene, a Norwegian quilter. All blocks are made and quilted one by one, and then put together to a quilt.

This quilt is hand sewn and hand quilted. Made from half hexagons and hexagons.

I love scrap quilts, and in this quilt I used many of my bright scraps.

I like to reuse denim, and this year I finished this denim quilt. You can find a tutorial here, if you like to make one yourself.

This is my latest finish, and you can read more about this quilt and see more photoes here.

I love to make pincushions. This one I made for Grit, who made the pattern for La Passion.

I found the pattern for this pincushion on this blog.

This pincushion I made for
Bea's pincushion swap.

My last picture this time is of a tablecloth with just the right colours for the season.

Hope you enjoyed this show. Please find the rest of the show at Soma's blog.

  6. Great quilts! I especially love the Lise Bergene quilt .... I have a book by her, from 2005! I've only made a couple of things from the book, but I love to look ... more pretty eye candy, eh!

Love your pincushions, especially the pink one .... did you draw it?

Lovely tablecloth too! I need/want to make a tablecloth .... one day! (Sigh) Perhaps it had better go on my list!

  10. Your quilts are wonderful and the pincushions are lovely. I can't believe that you pieced that beautiful quilt by hand and then hand quilted it. Amazing work!

Thank you so much for linking up on Trunk Full Of Quilts!
