Summing up the micro mini month

 The micromini challenge is ending, and I managed to make nine miniquilts during the month. Here are the last six. And here you can see the first three.

Micromini month

May is the month of miniquilts. And Lesley is the queen of minis and is hosting the challenge also this year. I can not resist the temptation of making some minis. These are for the first ten days of the month, two doll house cushions and a mini selvage quilt. Hope to make more during May. You can join in whenever you like this month.

 May is always a fun month with challenges for the smallest quilts you can think of. The biggest one is in my hand, and it's 3 1/2" square. I made seven of them this year. Here you can see them all. Which do you like the best?

Micromini quilts

Every year in May @berry_birdy you can find challenges for the smallest quilts you can ever imagine. I love to take part in those challenges as it gives me the opportunity to use my tiniest and most beautiful scraps. Here are my first quilts for this year.

This one is 2 1/4" x 3", scrappy and improv.

This second one is all hand sew and hand quilted. I really love how it came out. It's just 1 1/2" x 2", also scrappy and improv.

Micromini

 It's May and time for micromini quilts. My first ones this time are made into beautiful pincushions. And when I first started, I couldn't stop. So I made six of them, two with tabs. I don't often use these colours, but now I see that they are beautiful.

Micro minis

 I've taken part in the #microminisal this month, as I do in May every year. Good to just make and finish something without having to plan at all. These are my takes in this challenge. So nice to use as small presents for friends I meet in the summer holiday. They are all between 2" and 3" square. You can see it with a spool on the second picture.

Scrap Happy May

A little glimpse of my garden just now. The first rhododendrons are blooming, and they're just beautiful.

Miniquilts

This weekend I've made two miniquilts. I love scrappy, as you all may know. And it's easy and fast to hand sew the bindings when they are so small, 3" and 6".

Har slått meg på disse små quiltene de siste ukene. Så gøy å sy slike miniquilter, som for eksempel kan brukes som underlag til glass. Nå har jeg et helt sett.

I in love with these miniquilts. They're so fun to sew, and now I have four of them.

Dette er andre året jeg er med på denne utfordringen. Ble ikke mer enn to microminiquilter denne gangen. Begge er 4"x4".

Nålepute, elevarbeid og en miniquilt

Har sendt en ny nålepute over dammen. Ingen tvil om hvor den er sydd. Så har jeg hatt besøk av min lille quiltevenninne. Har hun ikke vært flink og sydd denne brikken helt alene? Det siste bildet er min seneste microminiquilt.

I sent a new pincushion overseas. No doubt that this is made in Norway. And today my little quilting friend visited me again. She's 10, and made this mug rug all by herself. The last picture is my latest microminiquilt.
