A new block and more pincushions

I didn't have much aqua/teal scraps. But I managed to make one single little block today, only 4" square. And I made some small pincushions too. This week I also got one house pincushion in the mail, as part of Bea's pincushion swap.

Orange progress

I've had some progress with my orange blocks. Actually I've joined them all, and made tops for two place mats. I wonder when I will have time to quilt them.

I also made a new pincushion, and got one too. Both are parts of a pincushion swap from Beaquilter.
One of these days Bea is starting a new round (three months) of the swap. So if you like to join, just contact her. It's pure fun.

Magical pincushions

I made some sort of a magical pincushion. You can use it on both sides, just look here.

I also made a mini. I'm trying to fill my glass, but it's almost impossible. There's always somebody here to pick up a new little pincushion.

Nålemappe og ei ugle til

Da jeg ryddet fant jeg et arbeid som jeg tenkte måtte gjøres ferdig. Det ble ei lita nålemappe. Tar gjerne med meg handsømprosjekter på tur, blant annet sying av lukkekanter. Mangler alltid klips til å holde kanten nede. Med denne mappen vil jeg ha med det jeg trenger.

This needle book needed to be finished. So fun with small projects. With this one I can take with me clips where I go.

Har også fått meg en ny nålepute denne uken i Beas swap. Fikk også en liten mug rug. Søtt med de uglene.

Nåleputer

En måned siden siste post om nåleputer. Så da var det på tide med et nytt. Har sydd den første og fått den andre gjennom Beas swap. Besøk gjerne Bea og få nye idéer.

Mini nåleputer

I disse dager er det mange som syr bittesmå nåleputer. Instagramkontoen @tinkerellen har oppfordret oss til å sy nåleputer som er mindre enn 3"x3" eller 7,5x7,5 cm. Her er de jeg har sydd til nå. Håper å fylle hele Norgesglasset.

Many people are making mini pincushions these days. @tinkerellen has challenged us to make teenytiny pincushions smaller than 3"x3". Here are mine until now. I hope to fill this glass.

Pincushion swap

I've been taking part in Bea's pincushion swap for years. I love getting those small envelopes in my post box every month. Every third month she starts a new round, and what you do is to make/send one pincushion a month for three months, and get a new from one of the other participants. Ny bordskåner og en melon eller tre

Har sydd en ny bordskåner som kan brukes under kopper eller aller helst ildfaste fat/gryter. Så har jeg fått ny nålepute fra Margaret, der det er melon både foran og bak.

I did a new scrappy mug rug or hot pad yesterday. And I've got a beautiful pincushion from Margaret, with melons on both sides. Thank you so much Margaret.
