Ditto the lagotto gets a quilt

This is a quilt I made for my "granddaughter" Ditto. She's so cute, and she has shown me that it's possible to be with a dog without being afraid. She got this quilt when I visited her recently. She loves that quilt, and I can find her on it almost always when she's in the house. You may find more sweet pictures of her and her adventures on her Instagram @dittothelagotto.

Another finished baby quilt. It turned out so pretty. And let me remind you about my giveaway

Ferdig på fredag

Denne ble ferdig i dag, og jeg ble veldig fornøyd. Her ser du starten på teppet, som er ca. 80x90 cm.

This one is now finished, and I'm so happy with it. Here you can see some more pictures. This baby quilt is about 32"x35". Today we got the first snow for the winter, as you may see.

Babyquilt 2

This is the other baby quilt. Today I've quilted it, hope to finish both of them next week. I got some small number cards from a friend, and they helped me a lot.

Her er den andre babyquilten ferdig quiltet. Håper å få begge ferdig i løpet av neste uke. Fikk noen nummerkort i posten fra en venn, og de var nyttige for å holde orden på strimlene.

Babyquilt

I'm making a quilt for a customer. As she didn't give me much info about colours and style, I decided to make two, so she can choose. This is the first one. I found a perfect back side for it today, so now let the quilting begin. Hobbs wool batting must be great for a baby quilt.

Hobbs ullvatt må vel passe her.

Trunk show

As we have beautiful weather here just now, I took out six of my quilts to photograph on the beach. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Med det nydelige været vi har her nå, tok jeg med seks av mine quilter ut for fotografering. Bare nyt!

All About Strings Blog Hop

Welcome to my day in Carla's blog hop "All about strings". Be sure to visit her blog to take part in her giveaway. As I love scraps, I've made my things scrappy. But I didn't empty my scrap bins.

The first little quilt I made is from a block of blue and green strings. I cut 4 triangles and matched them with black fabric. I'm quite happy with this little mug rug.

Then I made a little needle case. So fun and easy. Just use your strings and make yourself one in an afternoon.

I made some string blocks for a quilt, but I was not able to finish this one. But I can show you the finished one. I used squares cut from old curtains, and put strings on one side. I love using recycled materials, and will finish this later.

Thank you for visiting my blog. And thank you Carla for hosting this fun blog hop.

Be sure to visit my fellow participants and get some really nice ideas for string quilts.

The Great Outdoors Island Batik Blog Hop and Giveaway

This month all the Island Batik Ambassadors present the new fabric lines from Island Batik coming to your quilt shops just now. Today is my day, and the collection is called Petting Zoo. Welcome.

Petting Zoo

Please note: The Island Batik fabrics featured in this post were given to me for use in my role as an Island Batik Ambassador. I used Aurifil Thread for piecing, and HOBBS batting cotton 80/20.

The pattern I used for this project I've had in mind for a long time. It's from the talented Lea Anne Brummett at Podunk Pretties, and this one is even for free. It's a great way of showing many fabrics at the same time, and a super quilt for the theme we've got. Thank you Lea Anna for giving me so much joy with this pattern, both now and earlier. The quilting is done by Sølvi at Sølvi Quiltestudio.
Size: 53"x53".

There is a giveaway on Island Batik's blogpost. And if you read to the end of this post, you'll even find another giveaway here. Just leave me a comment, and you're in the draw at the end of this blog hop.

As the theme is OUTDOORS, we're going out in the beautiful nature of Norway. Here we go:

Giveaway
Just leave me a comment, and you're in the draw for these three stash builder rolls of Island Batik fabrics, each of them with four different 5" WOF stripes batiks.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and be sure to visit all my fellow ambassadors on their day.
