This month all the Island Batik Ambassadors present the new fabric lines from Island Batik coming to your quilt shops just now. Today is my day, and the collection is called Petting Zoo. Welcome.
Petting Zoo |
Please note: The Island Batik fabrics featured in this post were given to me for use in my role as an Island Batik Ambassador. I used Aurifil Thread for piecing, and HOBBS batting cotton 80/20.
The pattern I used for this project I've had in mind for a long time. It's from the talented Lea Anne Brummett at Podunk Pretties, and this one is even for free. It's a great way of showing many fabrics at the same time, and a super quilt for the theme we've got. Thank you Lea Anna for giving me so much joy with this pattern, both now and earlier. The quilting is done by Sølvi at Sølvi Quiltestudio.
Size: 53"x53".
There is a giveaway on Island Batik's blogpost. And if you read to the end of this post, you'll even find another giveaway here. Just leave me a comment, and you're in the draw at the end of this blog hop.
As the theme is OUTDOORS, we're going out in the beautiful nature of Norway. Here we go:
Giveaway
Just leave me a comment, and you're in the draw for these three stash builder rolls of Island Batik fabrics, each of them with four different 5" WOF stripes batiks.
Thank you for visiting my blog, and be sure to visit all my fellow ambassadors on their day.
