I have combined two challenges this last week. I'm taking part in Ann Wood's 100 day stitch book challenge. Then I saw the challenge for Art Journal Journey, and made a spring themed page. It's spring here, and the small lambs are soon out on the grass. And the first spring flowers are already here.
This year I have started a stitch book, a challenge from @annwood. I've seen those books for years, now I jumped in for 15 minutes of stitching every day. It's supposed to last for 100 days, and end up as a stitch book with 20 pages. I'm already at page 8. Here are all my pages until now.
The theme this month from Art Journal Journey, and a challenge for me. I made a new page for my journal, but I have two pages left before I can show you my little scrappy book.
The theme from Art Journal Journey this month is to make our own background for a journal page. I'm just now making art journals for children, or quiet books if you like. And I'm making backgrounds with old fabrics and scraps. So it's also a recycling project. Here are some of my quilted backgrounds.

The challenge this month from Art Journal Journey is People. And I made these two friends having a nice time together, with inspiration from photoes on Pinterest. This is a page for my slow growing art journal.
And butterflies have wings, so I'm taking part in the challenge on Art Journal Journey this month. This is a page for my art journal. Soon I have enough pages to make a book.

On Art Journal Journey this month the theme from Erika is Spring Birds. I found a little bird, and you can see it's spring when the little girl is playing outdoors. The flowers are blooming, also here. It's a wonderful time.

I was so inspired of the music theme from Vicki on Art Journal Journey that I had to make another journal page. You can say that it gave me a "Magic moment".

It's been a long time since I made an art journal page. This month the theme from Art Journal Journey is music. And as I love all kind of music, I had to make a page. And there may be more pages before the month is over.

I can remember when I was young all the mothers in the neighborhood stayed at home. Even if our own mother was out of the house for a while, we could go to whatever house with an adult to get a slice of bread or something to drink, or just to talk or play. We were as a big family. Such a safe world. I don't think it's like that any longer, even in Norway.
This is how I remember my mother or neighbors waiting for us after school. Thank you Chris for this challenge on Art Journal Journey.
