Special thanks go to Mdm. Samm at Sew we quilt and our cheerleader Debby at Debby Kratovil Quilts. They have let me be a part of this super blog hop. I recommend all hexie lovers to sit down and have a good time with all those great hexie ideas brought to us through this hop. There are even prizes from our sponsor Connecting Threads.
Most of my hexie projects are really huge, with hundreds of hexies. Now I had to make some smaller things to show you. The first thing I made is a pouch for my camera. Since I hade to take a picture of it, I couldn't show you that, but put some other items in it.
I also made some bookmarks with cute little owls and ladybirds on.
I got a sweet jug with hexagons from a friend some time ago. I've started to make a runner to fit with it, but I had no time to finish it now.
My hexie life started by sewing this. It was finished 12 years ago. I had no teacher to show me, and nothing to look at. So I made some templates and started to make my own pattern. It is all hand sewn and hand quilted around each and every hexagon. No sewing machine has touched it. I so love this quilt.
At last I'll show you another pattern I've made with half hexagons. This I'm going to make a blog post of later this week. There you will find different ways of using this pattern, and a tutorial. You'll also find more hexagon work if you click Hexagons in my side bar.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Welcome back!
Day 6: Tuesday, August 27th you can visit these blogs to see more hexie projects:
