Working with a baby quilt is just the possibility for me to use all the bright fabrics from Island Batik. So if you think batik is just pastel, you should think twice. I love those bright colours, and I think they show the Scandinavian style in a beautiful way. And log cabin blocks are just perfect for everything. To make them wonky gives them even more life.
For babies are these sweet elephants, too. Island Batik is just the perfect fabric for softies, and especially for elephants. I took some of them out into the forest so they could do some real work. If you like to see more elephants in different colours, you can go here.
As July is a holiday month with much travelling, I didn't have the time to do the quilting. I have to do it when I come home in August.
