Today I finished the challenge for April from Island Batik. My quilting sewing machine foot didn't work, and I couldn't find the right one from any of my friends. So I had to use my ordinary pressure foot. But I'm happy with that. I have to buy another quilting foot soon.
The fabrics from Island Batik, are just perfect to use in landscapes, as you can see. This series is called Costal Mist. And I made a bike bringing those beautiful fabrics around to you all. Yey, here we come! You can find more about the fabrics on this blog from Island Batik.
I first finished the background, then appliqued the bike.
I used thread from Superior Threads for quilting. The colours worked very well with the fabrics.

ReplyDeletethis has worked beautifully. I too have foot problems part of my walking foot has come off looks like it is glued on but when I took it to the local bernina shop she said it could not be repaired a new one is £99 hoping I will find someone that says they can mend it though
