I've never tried sashiko before. But after a workshop with Kate Ward this was the result. I found it easier than I had waited. And now I have to try some other sashiko patterns when I get the right thread.
Turid, welcome back! I've never done sashiko embroidery before but I do enjoy embroidering so I'd probably enjoy it. Thanks for joining the weekly party. :)
I've never done sashiko either but it sure looks pretty! Thanks for sharing on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss. https://www.inquiringquilter.com/questions/2026/05/20/wednesday-wait-loss-485
Good to "see" you again, Turid!! Your sashiko is fantastic. I've never tried it, but I really want to...some day! LOL Thanks for sharing with us at Monday Musings.

ReplyDeleteYour sashiko came out beautifully! It is addicting isn't it? I'm so happy for you to be learning a new way of stitching!
