A perfect theme for July on Art Journal Journey, and a challenge for me. As I'm away from my sewing machine just now, this is a totally hand made page for my journal. And I've tried a stencil for the first time. Not at all perfect, but a good start. I used all that I could find in my little box here I am. Enjoy.

How great that you made your journal page by hand while away from home! Every time we try something new we learn more about it and get better each time we do it. I love this mix of teal and purple and white. This will be a special page in your journal for sure.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous stitched piece. And good for you to try stenciling. I like the results, and isn't it fun? I like the hand stitching too. It is a different effect from machine stitching. This is perfect for Alison's summer countryside challenge. Thanks so much for sharing with us at AJJ. Hugs-Erika
