This is how it's going to be. |
Start with eight 3 1/4" squares from a neutral fabric. |
Put four away and make the star points on the other four. |
Find some different scraps minimum 3# squares. Cut them to triangles like this. |
Sew all the four parts like this, iron them and square them up. |
Find all the white squares and place the star points as you find it the best. Now on to the middle. |
I make each square by sewing together small scraps and orphan HTS blocks. Square them up to 3 1/4". |
Then the fun starts. Should I choose this one? |
Or is this one better? I always make lots to choose from. |
I ended up with this one as the perfect middle for these star points. |
Sew them into rows, and then again each row together. |
Finished! Now you can just square it up to 8 1/4". Good luck trying your own stars! |
