Sewcialites QAL

For weeks now we've got one block every week for the quilt-along from Fat Quarter Shop. As I make every block mirrored too, I've got 36 blocks by now. Still a long way to go, but that's just perfect for me. Here you can see all the blocks together, and some close-ups. All the blocks are 3 1/2" and made with batiks from Island Batik.

  1. Wow you have done great so far...keep at it. I made one of the blocks for a small prayer pocket and I know it is not always easy to work so small.

  3. I love it. It reminds me of when I worked on the 365 Challenge Ultimate Sampler. It too has 3.5 inches blocks. I am now addicted to little blocks, so consider yourself warned, lol. ;^)

  4. I love your tiny little blocks! What a great idea to make a positive and negative version of each one.

  5. WOW, the blocks look terrific! I love your first photo. Are the blocks paper pieced? I could not even imagine myself working that small if they are not paper pieced. In any case, I’m so impressed with your very small blocks!
