This quilt is going to have about 17 000 hexies in the end, and it's going to an exhibition in four years. Today it has 3600 hexies, and I've found that I have to sew 10 hexies a day to get it finished in time. So tomorrow I start the next hundred.

Ten hexagons a day sounds much more manageable, somehow, than 17,000! I'm glad to know it's going to be exhibited at the end of all that work.
