Grand Illusion - part 6

The new year startet with the reveal of this mystery by Bonnie Hunter. The joining of blocks has been more difficult than normal. I chose different colours, and couldn't see the pattern as in Bonnie's quilt, even if I turned my blocks for many days. So I had to think of something else, as many of you also have done.

I've decided to make my blocks like this. Then I have to change some of the pieces in these small blocks before joining them. I'm sure that will take some time. The sashing I have to think of later.

Thank you, Bonnie Hunter. I've really learnt a lesson.

  3. Oh I like your block and the colors--I can understand how it must be difficult to "see" the pattern when you get it all together...complicated pattern...hugs, Julierose
