Blue pineapple

This quilt is made with scraps, all except the blue. I love using those tiny pieces. And with foundation paper piecing it's so accurate and perfect. I'm so happy that my husband helped me removing the papers, and there was a lot. The quilt was finished just in time for an exhibition in March. After that I totally forgot to show you. It's beautifully quilted by Sølvi Quiltestudio. Size; 53"x68". Hope you'll enjoy the quilt and the beautiful nature around here just now.

  1. Wow, beautiful quilt! Congratulations for the exhibition ;)
    The scenery is gorgeous too.
Thank you for sharing this beauty, and linking up!

  2. So it looks like 63 little paper pieced blocks!!! That is a lot of paper piecing of the same block over and over and over. Your quilt is magnificent. And such a great way to use up a lot of little scraps.

  3. Wow! That is stunning. I would love to see it up close. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!

  4. Beautiful quilt, Turid! And your stunning Norwegian scenery is the perfect backdrop for it.

  5. I love this, the blue is beautiful! Happy stitching!

  6. So lovely! How fortunate to have someone to help you remove all those papers. Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.

  7. Sooo beautiful! I just started a pineapple quilt. Now I know I have to keep going!
