Welcome to the second day of this year's first blog hop hosted by Joan at MooseStash Quilting. When I was invited to this hop, I had to jump in, as I live near the North Pole. This time I'll start out with a pincushion and some polar bears. And if you like to be in the draw for this pincushion and some small fabric goodies, just mention it in a comment. I'll pick a winner on Friday.
Update: The winner of this pincushion and some extra goodies is Andrée. Congratulations!
As some of you know I bake bread all the time, and I've often thought about making drawstring bags to put them in. So I made two different ones, and I really love the result. I took them out in the snow so that the bears would have a cold and fun day.
I also made another drawstring bag, and it can be used for stockings, underwear or other small things that will need a bag. Isn't this bear a cutie?
I needed some fronts for quiet books, and made two of them with polar bears on. Now I have to bind and finish two new books soon.
Joan gives you the full list of participants in this blog hop. Please visit my fellow bloggers. We all like kind comments.
I hope you will enjoy all the new ideas you get this week.
Thank you Joan for hosting this fun blog hop. And thank you all for visiting my blog.

ReplyDeleteVery cute pincushion.
ReplyDeleteI would love a chance to be picked for your pin cushion, its so sweet. I think the bags are wonderful but I have a question. Do the bags keep the bread fresh or do you have to refrigerate it also, oh but then again if you're baking it it probably doesnt have a chance to age. hmmmm
ReplyDeleteI would love to win your cute polar bear pincushion! I love your polar bear fabric bags - so useful and fun besides!
