Findings in plastic bags

This week I've been looking for a special fabric I know I have somewhere. I didn't find it, but instead I found this. Years ago, before I started my blog, I made this beautiful star. I don't know what it was intended to become, but I really love it. And I have to do something with it.

After some digging in the box, I found another bag. Obviously I had started stars in other colours too.

And at last I found a third bag with more stripe blocks. And there was also more fabrics to match. So now I have a new challenge going on. And I love it.

  4. What a great find! Maybe it was a rainbow scrap challenge block? I sure hope you make something to show us from them!

  5. That's a lovely star block. I don't think I've seen it before.
Finding all of the stripe blocks is like discovering a Christmas present you forgot to open.

  6. What a fun find and you did not have to go and spend time or money for it :-) I am sure you are eager to put these pieces together. I can completely relate. I too have found some scraps in a plastic bag or some fat quarters set aside for a specific project which was then set aside only to be found at a later date with joy and surprise :-)
