It's cool to be square blog hop

This week we've seen so many square quilts in this fun blog hop hosted by Carol at Just Let Me Quilt. Thank you so much Carol for giving us the chance to hop with you.

Today is my day, and the first thing I can show you is my recycled little denim quilt.

https://www.justletmequilt.com/2020/05/its-cool-to-be-square-blog-hop-is-still.html

Size: 21"x21"

I quilted it with flowers in every square.

Even the back side is recycled.

When we first were invited to this cool blog hop, I started out with these squares. You can see more of my pineapple quilt here. The little NYB block I made into a mini quilt as a birthday present for a blog friend. I forgot to take a picture of it before I sent it. All the denim squares are in the little quilt. Look at all those shades of blue. The two other blocks are made into pincushions, as you might have guessed already. A blog hop without a pincushion or two is not possible for me.

I really can recommend visiting the other participant in this blog hop. So many new ideas, and I've already some new things on my to-do list. Here's the list of fellow bloggers in this hop:

Take a good cup of coffee, and enjoy all the beautiful quilts you find in this list. And we're all happy if you send a nice comment if you like what we've made up for you. Have a nice weekend!

  4. What a great little quilt, Turid! I love the little corner pops of color. They really soften the effects of denim and make this a sweet little quilt. I always love seeing your creative pincushions.

  7. Those denim quilts are great. I love pineapple blocks and just made several myself, although not sure what I will make with them, but I used up scraps so that was a plus. Cute pincushions too.

  16. I love the denim blocks. The corners really pop and the quilting is perfect. I can't believe that I never thought of making a pin cushion. Probably 90% of mine are square based. Yours are adorable.
