Welcome to this blog hop hosted by Carla at Creatin' in the Sticks. Thank you Carla for all your work. Please visit her blog to find all the details for this hop, included a list of all the participants, link to a Pinterest board and even a giveaway.
I'm so excited to see what all the 35 participants made this week. My favorite block just now is the churn dash. I even took a test to find out that. And I love to make my blocks wonky and with scraps. First I made some pincushions, as I love pincushions. The squares are 1 1/2", and the edge 1".
I couldn't stop there, and had to make a pair of good potholders. As we have some late summer days here just now, I had to take them out to take pictures. 3# squares and 2" edge in these.
Here is the list of today's participants. Be sure to visit them all. The rest of the list here. Enjoy.

Wonky gives such character to your pieces. The blocks on those pin cushions are pretty tiny creating such a sweet finish.ReplyDelete
You made so many churn dash blocks into great projects...I love them! Using one kind of block as a potholder is a great idea and those pincushions are just the cutest. Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete

Currently log cabin is my favorite block, but churn dash was the first quilt block I made - it was the bib and pocket for an apron I made for a friend for her wedding shower back in 1987! Thanks for the memories and the reminder of how cute they are!ReplyDelete

So far I am recognizing all my blogging friend’s favorite blocks. It’s fun to see a variety of pieces made with them. Your scrappy pincushions are always a treat to view. And you certainly can’t go wrong with potholders. Use them up good and you get to make more. Wonderful fabric color choices!ReplyDelete
