Elementz Blog Hop + giveaway

Tammy Silvers is a fabric designer and made this line for Island Batik. She has made the most beautiful batiks in bright colours, real eye candy. So if you, as I did before, think batiks are just pastels, you have to read on.

Be sure to enter the Rafflecopter at Island Batik or Tamarinis for a chance to win a Fat Eight Bundle of Elementz! You'll also find my giveaway at the end of this post.

Today is my day, but this blog hop started on Feb 26, so be sure to check out each stop on the hop to find more ideas on using these fabrics. There are also more giveaways on many of the blogs.

First I made this 11"x24" sandwich and chose a monkey wreath window on the front. The edges are rounded a bit, I quilted it and put on a binding.

I used Aurifil thread for the quilting, it went like a dream.

The zipper is fastened with quilting on the binding.

The front

and the back. Here I  can embroider a name if I like.

I like to have a chance to hang it up.

It's deep so I can have my things standing inside.

I'm so happy with this bag.

Here is what I made earlier with this fabric line.
