I suddenly found this old half hexagon work, and made a couple of new blocks for it. So fun after all the hexagons I'm normally working with. Then I got this beautiful penguin pincushion from Janora in USA. I think he will keep my most beautiful pins. As you can see he has already found a new friend here in Norway. Thank you so much Janora, he's the cutest.

that is a very nice design and love the little penguin cushion
ReplyDeleteGreat pattern, love the way it looks like curling ribbon. The penguin is so sweet, especially with her scissors!
ReplyDeleteFriends are the best. Especially the quilty ones. Thanks for linking up with Oh Scrap!
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute and perfect with his snowman friend.
ReplyDeleteHe's adorable - and so is his little frozen friend!
ReplyDeleteI love your half-hexagon project! So different from your tiny hexies!
I love penguins and I adore yours. My youngest daughter called them "pink ones" when she was small.
ReplyDeleteThe hexagons are uniquely pieced and I love the deep hues. My hexagon project is a scrappy Grandmother's Flower Garden. I loved making the flowers but do not enjoy piecing the flowers together.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors and fabrics!
