For various reasons I've used two weeks on the last hundred hexies. The last days we've been in shock, like you all have, due to the terror in Paris, and we're thinking of our French friends just now. It's also important now to do what you always do. I'm so in love with this work, and that it gives me friend all over the world. Grit should have been nominated to get the piece price soon.

I've struggled a bit to find out what to put in the middle of the diamonds. Had to make many hexies to try, and here you can see some of the possibilities I have. In the meantime I have started outside the big hexagons.

  14. I am always impressed with the number of hexies in your project! It is truly stunning and I just love the black, white and green color scheme. For what it's worth, I like the first diamond idea (which I think is the same as the last photo).
