I made a quilt out of the blocks I had at the beginning of the month. I found out that I would love to have some blue stripes quilted into the white parts, so I couldn't bind this quilt yet. But it became a nice quilt for picnic, so now I'm already longing for spring.
I used many of the old denim jeans I had in a big box. And I quilted different sized flowers in all the denim blocks. A good way of practicing free hand quilting.

Great denim quilt. I'm in the process of breaking out the denim, myself. I just love the weight of denim in a quilt. You have given me great inspiration.
ReplyDeletethis has worked so well with the old jeans, I have 3 pairs one of which is a patterned pair that my daughter has given me to chop up and your quilt has motivated me
