This quilt I made more than thirty years ago, and it was my first big quilt. It is really not quilted very much though. I've been visiting it these couple of days, and it was so fun seeing it again. It's 2m x 2m, so quite big. And I actually like it very much.

Your first quilt is lovely, Turid. You can always add more quilting, even now all these years later, if you’d like to. But I think revisiting its original condition is quite sentimental.

ReplyDeleteone of my brothers has my first quilt which was not made well at all - one time about 10 years ago I took it home and added more quilting in it and repaired a few spots and gave it back to him
