As an Island Batik
Ambassador we have lots of fun every month. The challenge this month was
paper piecing. I work with an EPP project, as I love hexagon quilting.
Tomorrow you can find that project on my blog. But I was tempted to make
a paper pieced tulip block, and today I made it into a sweet book
cover.
I picked these beautiful Island Batik fabrics for this project. I didn't know that batiks came in such fantastic colours before.
Aurifil Thread is a perfect match for these fabrics, and you'll find it in whatever colour you may need.

that book cover is fantastic how you framed it on the background and then the little stripes like a book cover on old books! just great!!
ReplyDeleteGreat project, and I'm so happy you're an ambassador! I've known about the colors, and it's so much fun to see you've discovered that, too. Great idea for the book cover.
