Scrappy meets thrift is a challenge from @reproquiltlover. I've planned to make 250 blocks for this challenge. Today I could count the first hundred. The blocks are 2 1/2", and will finish as 2" in a quilt. They're really addictive to sew. I just managed to put all hundred in a pile and take a photo before it overturned.

very small pieces! I have a package of papers to make this that were included in something I won but it only makes 40 squares I think. I will need to make copies of them when I decide when to use them. I like your colorful arrangement.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Those are small blocks. They are stunning all together. Imagine 250 together!! OMG is right! How big is the middle square? Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive pile of tiny blocks! Such happy colours! Gail at the cozy quilter
ReplyDeleteYour blocks finish at TWO inches -- did I read that correctly?! They sparkle like gemstones! I can see why they are addictive to sew. I'll bet you're enjoying using up your smallest scraps of favorite fabrics to make them.
ReplyDeleteWow, they all look so pretty together, and bravo for stitching 100 blocks! Cute little gems! Thank you for sharing this milestone and linking up!
