It happens so seldom, I always sit up and take notice immediately. This is a beautiful art quilt and you did a fabulous job with the sewing, too. That single flower in the polar night was incredible. I loved the way the bears were marching across the bottom, too. How nice to be inspired by her piece and your own piece is so different.
I absolutely love your frosted flower in the polar night, what a lovely theme for a flower. The flower itself is gorgeous with the spiral stitching and the pattern around the edge and the pretty leaves. Nice touch with bears marching along the bottom edge, and the one button and selvedge words and images add to the whole effect.
Thanks very much for showing us this piece for the theme at AJJ and I hope we see you again soon.sheila 77https://www.blogger.com/profile/00698767195924308373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9095990774984483632.post-23189131202725389882021-03-20T21:03:32.077+01:002021-03-20T21:03:32.077+01:00Hi Turid! I’m so glad you were inspired to join in the Art Journal Journey challenge with your single flower. It is a wonderful art flower. You sure did captured the polar night. Not so easily done with fabric. The night rainbows are as welcome as your frosted flower for Spring. I love the selvedge you found to include. And that binding is a bright and bold framing. I can’t wait to see what you will add next to your new art journal.Anniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10540499473620802526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9095990774984483632.post-79594975128145371702021-03-20T19:20:57.366+01:002021-03-20T19:20:57.366+01:00Your interpretation of the challenge's theme i...Your interpretation of the challenge's theme is great, I love your flower, and the details around it!
Thank you for linking up today ;)Frédérique - Quilting Patchwork Appliquéhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15307507105646376697noreply@blogger.com
