Perfectly Pleasing Pincushion Parade 2020

This week is the yearly pincushion parade going on HERE. So happy to show you some of my favorite pincushions. I've made some new pincushions lately with inspiration from #pincushionparadebloghop on Instagram. But first I have to show you Crazybird, my new friend in the sewing room. You can see more pictures of him here.

I love to make star pincushions. Here are a few of them, all made with scraps.

And I often try to use some selvages for pincushions.

Here's a jar with a pincushion on top, made with hexies. Small gift pincushions inside.

These are my blog hop pincushions so far. More to come all June.

And I can also show you some of the pincushions I've got in Bea's pincushion swap. You can join if you like, for three months at the time. Just send a word to Bea on her blog.

As you might have understood by now, I love pincushions, both to make and to get them.

  2. What beautiful pincushions you’ve showed us. Your Parade is wonderful. That jar pincushion is so clever. I imagine the jar could also be filled with buttons or other sewing notions, a perfect gift.

  18. Well, I have to say, crazy bird is one of my favourite pin cushions ever! Thanks for the link so I could go back and admire him again. His glasses are such a hoot, that for once I might actually put my scissors away where they belonged if I had his brother. :) Thanks for sharing at the Chameleon's Colour & Inspiration party.

You have many beautiful pincushions, and I am happy to say I actually have one them from our swap in Bea’s swap last year! I’m sure too that you must have even more pincushions!
