I couldn't resist the temptation, I had to sew this cute heart block to try to melt away the ice and snow outside. You'll find the tutorial for this at Cynthia's blog. It's part of a series of blocks from Soscrappy, and if you make them all it will be a nice quilt in the end.

I've joined some scraps to make a new hot pad. Now on to the quilting.

I've started quilting my La Passion again after a stop. Second corner almost done. And I got more happy mail, this beautiful card from Annie. She's making lots of them, a real artist.

  1. I'm always surprised to see those cards come through the mail without being damaged I have received a couple over the years as well. I love your quilting and glad you have gotten back to that quilt!!

  2. Yay, your postcard arrived! That always makes me happy. You have a lot of happy sewing going on. It would take a big truck load of hearts to melt our snow and warm us up. But it’s all kinds of warm inside to be creative. Enjoy!

  6. I hope your heart worked to melt the snow! It is so cute and a quilt full of them would be really fun. We had some real sunshine and warm air to melt our snow today in my part of the world, but now ice is expected in a few days.
